Cristhian Mosquera, César Tárrega, Javi Guerra, and Diego López set to face England in U-21 European Championship quarter-finals

The Spanish squad will play their match next Saturday, June 21, at 9:00PM (local time)

Spain will play the quarter-finals of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship next Saturday, June 21 at 21:00, against England at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium in Trnava, Slovakia.

On one side, Spain reaches this stage after securing two victories (against Slovakia and Romania) and one draw (against Italy), thus finishing top of Group A with 7 points. In the group stage, the four Valencia CF players called up — Cristhian Mosquera, César Tárrega, Javi Guerra, and Diego López — have been key contributors, providing goals and assists for the national team.

On the other hand, England comes into the quarter-finals following one win (against the Czech Republic), one draw (against Slovenia), and one loss (against Germany). The English team qualified for this clash as the runner-up in Group B with 4 points.
